Note: If this is your first time to my page please start with post one. The following blogs will make much more sense
“Lord, grant that the fire of my heart may melt the lead in my feet” Unknown

To often it seems like I have lead feet and I don’t mean a lead foot in driving but that I can’t get them to move and preach the gospel, so here is where I shall speak first and hope to reach a soul in need, makes me think of the Casting Crowns song “Lifesong”
Casting Crowns Lyrics
Here I Go Again Lyrics
The following is taken from THE EVIDENCE BIBLE
“…but his word was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.” Jeremiah 20:9
Persecution almost persuaded Jeremiah not to speak in God’s name, but God’s Word burned so within Jeremiah that he could not keep it to himself. (Psalm 39:3 says “My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spoke I with my tongue,”
How much more should we be forthright in presenting the good news of eternal life through our Savior Jesus! (John 17:14 says “I have given them your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.” Footnote says…
Do you feel discouraged by negative reaction to the gospel? You shouldn’t. According to the Gospels, the religious leaders tried to kill Jesus ten times. Let’s look to Scripture and see what happened when Paul preached the biblical gospel:
Acts 13:45~The crowd began “contradicting and blaspheming.”
Acts 13:50~Paul and Barnabas were persecuted and thrown out of the region.
Acts 14:5~The crowd plotted to stone them, forcing them to flee.
Acts 14:19~Paul was stoned and left for dead.
Acts 16:23~Both Paul and Silas were beaten with “many stripes” and thrown in prison.
Acts 18:6~Paul’s hearers “opposed themselves, and blasphemed.”
Acts 19:26-28~His hearers were “full of wrath” and seized Paul’s companions.
Acts 20:23~The Holy Spirit warned Paul that bonds and afflictions awaited him wherever he preached the gospel.
Acts 22:21,22~His listeners called for his death.
Acts 23:1,2~As soon as he began to speak, he was smacking in the mouth.
Acts 23:10~After Paul spoke there was “great dissension” in the crowd and he was nearly “pulled in pieces.”
Acts 23:12,13~More than forty Jews conspired to murder him.
Acts 24:5~He is called a “pestilent fellow,” a “mover of sedition,” and a “ringleader” of a “sect.”
END OF PASSAGES TAKEN FROM THE EVIDENCE BIBLE
Let us not be afraid of what mere mortal man can do to us for God is the one we should fear, we should fear his coming judgement but if you are saved and living a life in fear of God (not in a bad way but in an obedient way) why do we have to fear man. The worst that could happen is they kill us and then we have an eternal life with God the Father in Heaven. I’ve been reading books on Martyrs and not the kind from Iraq that fly planes to their and our destruction to receive 20 or whatever virgins I am talking about dying just to let someone be blessed with the gospel and find true everlasting life. I don’t fear death because I know I would be going to a better place. So preach as if it was your last chance to speak and you had the opportunity to save just ONE person, that is ONE life spared from the coming judgement of God.
